It depends. Because of the way our equipment is set up, it would be unsafe for you to remain in your wheelchair for the donation.
That means you can only donate if you can transfer yourself from the chair to one of our donor chairs.
Don't be disappointed if you can’t though, because there are other ways you can help. You can spread the word about how blood saves lives on social media (find us @lifebloodau), register your intent to be an organ donor (if you’re 16 or over), or support the great humanitarian work of the Australian Red Cross.
