Marijke's passion is translating numbers into stories and she collaborates with Lifeblood researchers to use the best statistical practice possible for their research. Building on a vast expertise of promoting good statistical practices and building bridges through proper statistical communication, she has made it her mission to make statistics in Lifeblood engaging and comprehensible. Her leadership in this area was recently recognised and awarded by the Australian Statistical Society.
