National blood donor week 2021
This week, make a change for life.
This week is National Blood Donor Week. For one week every year, we take the time to celebrate our amazing donors. Without them, the work we do would not be possible. They've made a change for life, and for that we are incredibly grateful. But every 24 seconds a new blood donor is needed in Australia. If you’ve never donated before, now is the time. Book a donation this National Blood Donor Week and make a change for life.
Why we celebrate our donors
We brought together donors from all walks of life to celebrate their achievements and learn when their lives changed forever.
Shining a light on blood donation
This National Blood Donor Week, the entire country will be celebrating our incredible donors. From the 14th of June, landmarks across Australia will be lit up in red to show their support for donors. Check out the list to find a location near you.
