Nursing and customer experience

The face of Lifeblood

Our Nursing and Customer Experience teams are responsible for collecting blood and plasma donations, and managing end-to-end donor experience. The amazing people in these roles are the face of Lifeblood. They get to experience all the joy donating brings, and it’s up to the them to make sure our donors know just how grateful we - and the rest of Australia - are for their generosity.

Who we’re looking for

If you choose to work in our donor centres you’ll find a team filled with warm and empathetic people who know how important our donors’ experiences are. But here’s the good news - you don’t always need to have medical qualifications or nursing experience. We provide on-the-job training and certification for people with the right attitude, including a Certificate III in Pathology.

If you’re a people person there are also a range of job opportunities in our national contact centre. Communication and problem-solving skills go a long way. Or, we have other office-based roles working behind the scenes on donor experience, in leadership or managerial roles, and in project management. We also have a Regional Partnerships team, who are the face of Lifeblood in the community.

Our national contact centre is in Adelaide and we have donor centres nationwide.

Clinical training to inspire

Our Inspire Training Program is all about setting up our new starters for a successful career at Lifeblood. It’s a self-paced, clinical training program focused on giving you on-the-job practice throughout your entire training period.

Inspire is linked to industry-based competency outcomes and aims to equip you with more confidence and practical skills earlier in your training.
