John Brown - Executive Director, Finance and Corporate, and Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, John has led the Finance division since 2011. His team manages organisational funding and provides financial information, advice, analysis and reporting. His areas of responsibility include strategic investments and costing, financial control, performance and budgets, procurement, and performance and analysis.
John’s worked in the government, health and not-for-profit sector for almost 25 years, including 6 and a half years as the Executive Director, Finance and Corporate at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where he was fortunate to be involved in development through to completion of a new hospital building.
Earlier in his career, John was the Financial Controller for Austin Health and also gained experience in roles within Victorian State Government and the Commonwealth Government.
