Dr Joanne Pink - Executive Director, Pathology and Clinical Governance, and Chief Medical Officer
As our Chief Medical Officer, Joanne leads the Pathology and Clinical Governance division, which works with the healthcare community to meet patient needs and collaborate continuously to improve our performance. Her areas of responsibility include donor and product safety policy, medical services, transfusion policy and education — including Blood Matters and BloodSafe, research and development, red cell reference, clinical stakeholder advisory service, pathology services, donor care and planning and performance management.
Joanne has more than 20 years’ experience in transfusion medicine at Lifeblood, and has been an executive since 2006.
