Can I donate breast milk?

At this time, Lifeblood cannot accept donations that:

• are collected via the 'drip/letdown' method
• are mixed in a jug or pitcher and left in the fridge
• are collected over two or more days, then mixed and stored in the same bag/container
• are stored in used food containers (water bottles, glass jars) or zip lock bags
• are not marked with the date you expressed your milk
• are older than 10 weeks from the date of expression
• have been collected after applying moisturisers or ointments to the breast or nipple area
